Who Is Fiona Mac?
Ina McInnis, wishing to have been named Fiona at birth, has given this website and a boat that uniquely celtic sobriquet.
The point of this website--so long in preparation--has been forgotten. I'm just doing it because I started it, have learned how to do it, and now I'm going to have it! Or else.
I have made a page to show some watercolors that I began trying out about 10 years ago in a class at what was then called the Strybing Arboretum in Golden Gate Park. I found that I was not a careful enough observer to be a botanical illustrator, but that I did enjoy painting plants and flowers. Following on the watercolors, I worked in acrylics trying out much more impressionistic techniques. The acrylics page shows some of these paintings.
The design page has examples of my work created on computer for web distribution. These are mostly "e-flyers."
The garden page has photos of my gardening efforts
These genealogy pages were the start of my very first website and so I have retrieved them from the scrap heap and included them here.
Photography includes photos from trips and events, most likely not very interesting to anyone not present
